These tools may collect information such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device information
  • Pages visited

Where required, we obtain your consent through a cookie banner before activating any tracking cookies.

You may manage or disable cookies at any time through your browser.

2. Data Collected by the SnapForms Plugin

This section explains how the SnapForms plugin processes data when used on a customer’s website.

2.1. Local Storage of Form Data

All form submissions, field data, logs, analytics, and related information are stored entirely on the customer’s own WordPress server.

  • SnapForms does not send form data to snapforms.tech
  • SnapForms does not transmit user submissions to any third party
  • You (the website owner) are the controller of your submission data

We do not access, process, or host your users’ information.

2.2. Licensing & Account Information (Freemius SDK)

The SnapForms plugin uses Freemius for:

  • License activation
  • License validation
  • Account creation
  • Billing and subscription management

When activating a license or creating an account, Freemius may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Website URL
  • IP address
  • Plugin usage metadata
  • License status

These details are processed exclusively by Freemius, not by SnapForms.
The Freemius Privacy Policy applies when using these licensing features.

2.3. IPv4 Geolocation

SnapForms uses MaxMind’s GeoLite2 databases to detect geographic information.

  • The plugin downloads the MaxMind database file periodically
  • All IP lookups happen locally inside the plugin
  • No IP address is sent to MaxMind servers
  • No remote API calls occur

This ensures compliance and keeps user data fully private.

2.4. Google reCAPTCHA (Optional)

If the website owner enables Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms:

  • Google may collect information such as IP address, browser metadata, and interaction data
  • This data is processed according to the Google Privacy Policy

SnapForms only provides the integration; enabling reCAPTCHA is optional and controlled by the site owner.

2.5. No Telemetry or External Analytics

The SnapForms plugin does not collect:

  • Usage analytics back to our servers
  • Submission counts
  • User data
  • Content of forms or fields
  • Behavior tracking

All analytics shown inside SnapForms are generated locally on the website using the submission data stored there.

We use your data only for legitimate purposes:

  • Responding to contact or demo requests
  • Providing customer support
  • Sending newsletters (only with your opt-in)
  • Improving the website, product, and marketing effectiveness
