Patch Notes – SnapForms v1.0.1

Based on feedback from early usage and internal validation, we have released SnapForms v1.0.1. This release is focused on stability, clarity, and improved feedback across analytics, editor integration, and email automations.

While no breaking changes were introduced, several improvements were made to ensure a smoother experience for administrators, editors and external users.

Analytics Improvements

Clearer UTM feedback
When no UTM parameters are available for a form, the analytics dashboard now displays an explicit message instead of omitting the entire section.
This avoids confusion and makes it immediately clear when attribution data is simply unavailable — not broken.

Numeric field chart rendering fixed
Line charts for numeric fields inside the analytics dashboard have been corrected to render consistently and accurately.

Editor & Block Fixes

Gutenberg shortcode save error resolved
A block serialization issue affecting shortcode-based blocks has been fixed.
This resolves save errors in the Gutenberg editor and ensures blocks persist correctly after editing pages embedding forms.

Field Dependencies Verification

Field dependencies backend verification was improved. This process takes places when a form submission occurs or is edited by a user.
This change helps make the backend validation smoother for verifying required fields.

Email Automations

The introduction of a new automation trigger: Admin submission rectification notification to user
A new email automation trigger is now available, allowing administrators to notify users when a submission has been rectified or adjusted.

This change improves:

  • Compliance workflows
  • Data correction transparency
  • Audit-friendly communication

This update directly supports GDPR Article 19, by easing the operational burden on data controllers when communicating data rectifications.

As always, these changes are designed to reinforce SnapForms’ core principles: data integrity, transparency, and operational reliability.
